Top Ten 2013

I realize it's April, but many of the films I've been waiting for from 2013 just recently became available in the US. I didn't write full reviews on many of these, simply because...I don't care enough sometimes. But, here's what I liked the most from last year.

10. Like Someone in Love

Contains one of the most heart-breaking scenes I've seen.

9. Nebraska

Surprisingly heartfelt.

8. Inside Llewyn Davis

Oscar Isaac.

7. Why Don't You Play in Hell?

Hilarious, violent, fun.

6. Frances Ha

The scene with David Bowie's Modern Love was perfect.

5. Stranger by the Lake

The ending stuck with me

4. A Touch of Sin

Haunting, important.

3. Blue is the Warmest Color

Heart-breaking, real.

2. The Wind Rises

A masterpiece.

1. The Act of Killing

Everyone should watch this.
